Due to the heightened awareness of Long Term Care Insurance over the past several years, most people realize that this coverage is an important part of their financial planning.

When you purchase LTC you are simply purchasing a pool of money to be used at a later date. We all hope to live to be 101 and pass away in our sleep. Unfortunately this is not often the case. There is almost 70% chance that one person in a couple will need Long Term Care at some point in their lives. For a single person there is a 40% chance of needing Long Term Care. Your pool of money is equal to your daily $ amount times your benefit period. Thus, if you select 4 year plan with a daily $ amount of $150, your pool of coverage is $219,000 ($150 X 's 365 days = $54,750 X 4 years = $219,000). Keep in mind, even though you have selected a 4-year plan, the policy can last much longer than 4 years. The policy will last as long as you have money in your pool of coverage. It works just like your checking account. As you receive care, the cost of the care comes out of your pool of money. Instead of you writing out the checks, the insurance company now acts as your bank and pays for your care from your pool of coverage. Thus, lets say you need homecare and the cost is only $120 a day, instead of the $150 a day you purchased. The other $30 a day is not lost it stays in your pool of money giving you 5 years of coverage instead of 4 years. If you are in a situation where you are receiving the full $150 a day, but you are only receiving care only 4 days a week, your pool of money would last 7 years instead of 4 years under this regimen.

Now let's assume, you purchase this policy today with $150 daily coverage, but you do not need care until 10 years down the road.Due to inflation, the $150 is not going to stretch far enough. Therefore, it is recommended to purchase an inflation protection option at the time you purchase coverage. With a 5% simple inflation option (which is recommended for people over age 65) the coverage grows and doubles every 20 years. Thus, the $150 you started with would grow to $225 in 10 years and $300 in 20 years. With a 5% compound inflation option, (recommended for people age 65 and under) your coverage grows and doubles every 14.3 years. Keep in mind , your pool of money is also growing and doubling over time, to offset the high rate of inflation.

When it is time to receive coverage under your Long Term Care policy, you are responsible for your elimination period. This is similar to the deductible in your auto insurance policy. It is the number of days before benefits begin. Common elimination periods are 30, 60 and 90 days, with the 90-day being the least expensive.

Once a site is indexed or put into the search engines database, the search engine spiders go out to those pages anywhere for once a month to several times a day. You could get a one way link back to your website from a site that is already indexed the search engines will follow that link back to your site and index it. The challenge care is to put your link on the site that is related to what you do. Ideally, the link back to your site is on a site that is already considered an authority in your field. It is not a good idea for a plumber to swap links with a web designer. Most people today are looking for 401k help. That's because one of the most popular (if not the most popular) retirement plan is a 401(k) plan. Another popular plan is the Roth IRA. Of course there are more options than this, but these are the two most common.

Think about what you are trying to do when making a choice between various Government plans. Usually, you are attempting to save up enough money so that you can live comfortably in your old age. However, if you plan on accumulating a lot of money, then a 401k will likely have you paying back more in taxes than you saved. Even an employer match may not help.

Focus on one of the "facts" you are constantly told about these plans. You are told that you'll be in a lower tax bracket. Do you think that that makes sense? Use risk and money management to protect your capital, divide your trading capital into 10 equal parts and never lose more than 10 percent on one trade. If you lost the first trade, you still have nine more opportunities to be right. Putting all your capital on one trade is suicidal and you will go down.

Secret 8: NEVER MEET MARGIN CALLS - CUT THE $hit- Saves you Money

When you are wrong about the market, get out, admit it and move on. Once you start thinking, very often prices will go against your position, further triggering a margin call from your broker. A margin call simply means that you are wrong in the market and your position should be closed out. Margin calls are made because people do not want to admit being wrong and take a loss; they hope the market will eventually go in their direction and that they will get there money back. There are two ways to get in to these databases. One is to submit your site to the different search engines. In about 6 to 9 weeks the search engine will index your site. They have software that comes to your site and index every page and adds it to the database. They come into your main web URL and follow the links to all the pages of your site. They capture key elements from the code on your page to the content. These are then stored in the data base. When someone puts a keyword in the search box the "algorithms" determine the best page or links to the best pages for your search.

The other way to get added to the search engines data base is to have the search engine software find you through a link to your site from another web site back to yours. The software, called "spiders" will periodically comeback and re crawl your site to see if you have updated it.

One important thing to know is that each page on your site is indexed individually and each page stands on its own. The ranking are based upon the combination of correct meta tags, relevant content to the keyword they are trying to get rankings for and link popularity. Mostly one way links back to their site from relevant sites.

As long as the search engine can index the site, clearly read the meta tags and content, the better. The big issues come when a site is built in flash with very little content (search engines cannot read or index "flash" sites. The amount you pay is determined by several factors including what you are willing to pay every time someone clicks on your ad.

Natural Search

Natural Search is when you type in a "keyword" and a link and a description shows up on left hand side of the search result page. The only way to get on the first page is to have very relevant content on your web site and links to your site from other relevant sites. This is a long process for people in it for the long haul. There are a lot of companies that claim to be able to get you on the first page of Google. That may be true if the "search term" is very specific and no one else would ever search for it but you or they are using a "black hat" method that could get you site banned from the search engine. Bottom line: Paid Search means you pay for your position. The benefit is, if you have the $$, you will get instant traffic. Stop paying and the traffic goes away. Natural search is free traffic but it is built over time. The advantage is, if done right, it can provide traffic for a long time.

Search traffic (paid or natural) is the BEST traffic to have because you are being found by folks who are specifically looking for what you have. It does not get any better than that.
